Our London unit hosts teams of up to 30 corporate volunteers, 5 days a week, who spend a fun day sorting books, often accompanied by some uplifting and energising music! It’s also the place where our core team work, talking to corporate partners, potential funders as well as dealing with the HR, Finance and all the core operations you’d expect. This meant that we had a bit of an issue with sound levels and we realised we could really benefit from an office phone booth. The fantastic team at Meavo offered us a phone booth free of charge and the team at Alliance moving services delivered and installed it, also at no cost to us. This has been amazing as we are able to make calls and still have the music going to motivate our amazing volunteers.
