Work for us

We are incredibly excited to have recently appointed our first paid roles to the Children’s Book Project. We will remain a lean organisation, focused on ensuring that all funding is used to the best effect, but these roles will allow us to scale and to ensure continued focus on the quality of the books we gift onwards and our partners’ book gifting events.

We are currently recruiting two part-time drivers to support our operations in Leeds and Birmingham. You should be aged 30 or over, fit, enjoy working with others and possess a full, clean driving licence. We offer one day per week, term-time only at £13.20 per hour.

To apply please email your CV and a covering letter to Applications close Friday 19th July. All applicants will receive a reply w/c 5th August.

A part of our values, we are committed to supporting inclusion and diversity. We actively celebrate different abilities, sexual orientation, ethnicity, faith and gender. Everyone is welcome and supported in their development at all stages of their journey with us.

To apply please send your covering letter and CV to Applications close Friday 11th July.

Interviews will be held remotely initially via MS teams and we would be happy to facilitate an initial call too if you would like to find out more. The successful candidate will be expected to attend an induction at our Book HQ in W10. Expenses will be paid.

Not for you? Please check back periodically for more opportunities. Please also click here if our remote or in-person volunteering opportunities might be of interest.
