Work for us

We are incredibly excited to have recently appointed our first paid roles to the Children’s Book Project. We will remain a lean organisation, focused on ensuring that all funding is used to the best effect, but these roles will allow us to scale and to ensure continued focus on the quality of the books we gift onwards and our partners’ book gifting events.

As part of our values, we are committed to supporting inclusion and diversity. We actively celebrate different abilities, sexual orientation, ethnicity, faith and gender. Everyone is welcome and supported in their development at all stages of their journey with us.

CHARITY INTERNSHIPS

We are recruiting two Interns who will join the charity for nine months, playing a key role in our London HQ delivery team.

You will help to set up and run three sorting days each week: training and supporting teams of volunteers to sort and box thousands of books. You will also help develop our London schools partnerships: liaising with practitioners so that every child we reach has the most positive experience. Please read the role outline for more information.

To apply, please complete this application form and email it to liberty@childrensbookproject.co.uk. Please note that CVs are not accepted.

Applications close Friday 4th October with first-round interviews taking place online w/c 7th October and second-round interviews in person w/c 14th October.

PART-TIME DRIVER

To apply please email your CV and a covering letter to anna@childrensbookproject.co.uk. Applications close Friday 26th September. We aim to reply to all applicants w/c 29th September.
