VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS (4 HOURS, FLEXIBLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE)

In London, Birmingham and Leeds join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator and help make a huge difference to both your local community and across your city. Shifts are flexible and we are an incredibly friendly bunch. Read the role outline below for more information and email clare@childrensbookproject.co.uk to come and meet us.

TEAM LEADERS (FLEXIBLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE)

If you’ve more time to give, please consider joining our core team of regular volunteers. Read the role outline below for more information and email clare@childrensbookproject.co.uk to find out more or to apply.

SCHOOL BOOK DRIVE COORDINATORS (4 HOURS PER WEEK)

We receive over 200,000 books each year via school Book Drives nationwide. They are a wonderful opportunity for children and families at a school to donate any books that they’ve grown out of and are extremely popular. We are looking for virtual volunteers that can work as part of a team to help tell schools in Birmingham, Leeds and London all about our work and support them to run a Book Drive on our behalf.

TWO NEW TRUSTEES

One of our trustees is coming to the end of their term, having helped launch and shape the charity, and we are forever grateful for their invaluable support, enthusiasm and guidance during this key phase. We have also amended our Charitable Constitution to allow another Trustee to join our dynamic and committed board. As a result of this timing, we are now seeking two new Trustees to join us.

Our new trustees will be strong communicators and relationship builders and will have a continuous improvement mindset. They will be passionate about what we do and the impact we have. With both appointments we are also conscious of finding one or two Chair designates, who might be happy to step into this role in due course.

Please read the role outline below and then email Tracy@childrensbookproject.co.uk to apply or to ask any questions.
