We are thrilled to celebrate our incredible team of 55 runners who took on the Royal Parks Half Marathon this October, raising over £40,000 in support of The Children’s Book Project. This was our biggest ever team of runners and included 10 taking part from publisher Wonderbly, aptly named the ‘Wonderful Wonderblies’.
A final lick of paint for our 40 beautiful Book Huts this week in readiness for their new role as a focal point not only for children to choose books to take home, but also for the same children to bring in and donate any books they want to pass on.
Since our partnership with Banner began in April 2023, they have collected an incredible 42,000 books to date — growing from 10,000 in the first year to over 20,000 last year, and expecting to exceed that target this year.
